Sharon Rose does acupuncture, acupressure, and therapeutic bodywork. She first learned functional anatomy and biomechanics as an ACE certified personal trainer and noncompetitive body builder. She attended chiropractic school for a year, then earned a Master's degree at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, specializing in Tuina (deep muscle massage) and Acupuncture. She is nationally board certified and holds a Pennsylvania state licence. She also learned OMM, (osteopathic musculoskeletal manipulation), which gently corrects muscular tension and spinal misalignment. In the interests of integrating modern and alternative concepts, she works with her husband, an osteopathic & family medicine physician. In 2001, a car accident left Sharon with a severe back injury. That experience and the complete recovery that followed gave her a greater understanding of the emotional and physical effects of chronic pain, allowing her to more thoroughly relate to her patients. She loves helping people heal. For more information, please visit www.RoseFamilyClinic.com. To schedule an appointment, call Sharon at 484-238-8127 or email sharon@rosefamilyclinic.com. | ||
