Maggie Christy received her training in massage therapy with Telema Hess, founder of Omega Healing Arts School, and Omega Bodworks+ located in Chestnut Hill, PA. Maggie offers an intriguing blend of therapies to address your personal needs, integrating many modalities and engaging the five senses in her bodywork sessions. Her massage covers the spectrum from therapeutic and sports applications to healing energy work and deep relaxation. She has great respect for our innate ability to heal our own bodies through the use of guided breath, emotional release, healing touch, and conscious relaxation techniques, and believes that we experience health and wellbeing through balancing the needs of our mind, body and spirit.  Maggie is new to the Downingtown Neighborhood and brings to the Wellness Center an experiential background in meditation, breathwork, visualization, Chi Kung and personal growth. For any further questions or to schedule a session, please call Maggie at 610-883-7288 or send an email to Maggie at mchristy2004@yahoo.com.

Sharon Rose first learned functional anatomy and biomechanics as a personal trainer and noncompetitive body builder.  She attended chiropractic school for a year, but left it to pursue Chinese medicine.  Sharon specialized in Tuina (deep muscle massage) and Acupuncture at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. Her husband is a DO, who practices Family Medicine at St. Joseph's Hospital. He has helped to expose her to the techniques of osteopathic manipulation. In the interests of further integrating modern and alternative concepts, she will begin medical school next year. In 2001, a car accident left Sharon crippled.  That experience and the recovery that followed gave her a greater understanding of the emotional and physical effects of chronic pain, allowing her to more thoroughly relate to her patients. She loves helping people heal themselves and looks forward to working with everyone at The Spirit of Yoga.  For more information, please visit www.RoseFamilyClinic.com.  To schedule an appointment, call Sharon at 484-238-8127 or send Sharon an email at sharon@rosefamilyclinic.com.
