The anatomy theme is the organ systems. Asana relating to these parts of the body will be studied. The philosophy theme is Bhagavad Gita. The Bhagavad Gita will be discussed on Wednesday mornings from 8 AM to 1 PM. The dates are: September 3, 17 & 24, October 1 & 8, November 5 & 19, and December 3, 10, & 17 The Anatomy will be discussed on Sunday afternoons from 12 PM to 5 PM. The dates are: September 14 & 21 and October 19
This may be taken as a complete week for RYT 500 Yoga Teacher Training or this may be taken for Continuing Education Credits. Click here to pay for the workshop. |

The 500 Hour Teacher Training will resume with Session 4 in August. Each session will have a philosophy theme and anatomy theme and will focus on the appropriate asanas and pranayamas to compliment these.
The requirements to enroll in this 500 hour program are as follows:
Fee for each week is $775. Workshops will be priced from $35 - $45 (4 required). You may take one or more days for CE Credits. You may take any of the Sunday Anatomy Classes for $50 per segment.
Themes for the week long sessions are as follows: Session 1 - Chakras. Each day a different chakra will be explored, lessons taught and asanas practiced that relate to the chakras. We will explore the connections with other traditions. Required books are Anatomy of the Spirit by Carolyn Myss and Wheels of Life by Anodea Judith Session 2 - The anatomy theme is from the feet to the hips and the philosophy theme is the study of the Yoga Sutras. Asanas will be primarily the standing postures along with ones relating to the hips. Required books will be listed at a future date. Session 3 - The anatomy theme is from the hips to the head. Asana relating to these parts of the body will be studied. The philosophy theme is Hatha Yoga Pradipika. Session 4 - The anatomy theme is systems of the body. The philosophy theme is the Bhagavad-Gita. You do not have to complete these weeks in order. We will meet 4 times per year. You may start with any week!! Call for more information 610-873-2307.
